INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  3. While spaghetti is cooking, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  4. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in spaghetti sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Drain spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Stir to combine.
  7. Pour the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the top.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

TIPS:

  • For a richer flavor, use homemade spaghetti sauce.
  • If you don't have ground beef, you can use ground turkey, chicken, or sausage instead.
  • Add your favorite vegetables to the sauce, such as mushrooms, peppers, or spinach.
  • Top the spaghetti with additional cheese, such as cheddar or provolone.
Enjoy! 😋😋
