INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed
- 1 banana
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1/2 cup frozen berries (optional)
- 1/4 cup yogurt (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add more milk or yogurt to thin out the smoothie, if desired.
- Enjoy immediately!
TIPS:
- For a sweeter smoothie, add a date or a spoonful of honey.
- For a thicker smoothie, add more kale or frozen berries.
- If you don't have kale, you can use other leafy greens, such as spinach or collard greens.
- You can also add other fruits and vegetables to your smoothie, such as apples, carrots, or blueberries.
VARIATIONS:
- Tropical Kale Smoothie: Add 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple and 1/4 cup of coconut milk to your smoothie.
- Berry Kale Smoothie: Add 1/2 cup of frozen berries and 1/4 cup of yogurt to your smoothie.
- Peanut Butter Kale Smoothie: Add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 1/4 cup of chocolate milk to your smoothie.
- Matcha Kale Smoothie: Add 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder to your smoothie.
