INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 (16 ounce) packages little smokies
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the little smokies are heated through.
  3. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

TIPS:

  • For a sweeter glaze, add more brown sugar.
  • For a spicier glaze, add more paprika or cayenne pepper.
  • If you want a thicker glaze, cornstarch slurry. To make a cornstarch slurry, combine 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water. Whisk until smooth. Add the slurry to the slow cooker and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened.

LITTLE SMOKIES RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, cut into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This will help them get crispy.

  3. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper. If using olive oil, add it now and toss to coat the wings evenly.

  4. Place the chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, without overcrowding. If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.

  5. Air fry the chicken wings for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

  6. Serve the wings immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.

TIPS:

  • For extra crispy wings, increase the air fryer temperature to 425°F (220°C) for the last 5 minutes of cooking.

  • If you want to add sauce to your wings, toss them in the sauce after they have finished cooking. This will help to keep the wings crispy.

  • Serve your wings with a variety of dipping sauces, such as buffalo sauce, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing.

Enjoy! 😋😋
