INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cooking spray
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and lemon juice.
- In a third bowl, place the panko bread crumbs.
- Dredge the chicken tenders in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat in the panko bread crumbs.
- Place the chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bread crumbs are golden brown.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
TIPS:
- For extra crispy chicken tenders, bake them for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- You can also air fry the chicken tenders at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
